Lowki is a free music social network that allows you to discover new music from people whose taste you appreciate. Start sharing songs with friends and followers and get recognition when you help them discover cool music!

Lowki is focused on music discovery nothing else, no streaming, no pictures, no news articles : You come on the app to see what the people you’re following are posting, bookmark a song and listen to it elsewhere. No noise, just music!

We’re relying on the “Human API” (you guys) to fill the news feed rather than complex algorithms. Our database has more than 38 million songs. Post snippets of tracks where you can comment,#, tag friends and earn level ups and titles by helping others discover cool music!

- Decide what mood you want to pick for the song you post (think of these as playlists). All feeds and profiles are therefore filterable by genre (Jazz, Rock etc.) and by mood (Road Trip, Work Out, Feel Good...). Let’s say you’re having a few friends over tonight and want some new music to make sure the mood is just right, filter by “Dinner and Drinks” and you’re set!
